  My husband and I had a wonderful experience hiking to the Materuni waterfall and exploring Moshi with Lewison. He timely picked us up from the airport at a very late... read more hour and took us to our hotel. The next day he picked us up and we drove up the mountain to meet Goodluck, our friendly and funny tour guide. Goodluck told us stories about the village, life and culture of the Chagga tribe, the beautiful people who live on the mountainside around the waterfall. The ground is wet at that time of year, and thanks to Goodluck I managed not to fall, but definitely recommend good hiking boots. The waterfall was stunning. Our shoes and my clothing was covered in mud but Goodluck and Lewison took us to family who somehow completely cleaned our shoes and clothing. While our stuff was drying we went on a coffee tour and watched how the guys make coffee and sing songs to stay motivated. The coffee was great but the best highlight was the absolutely delicious food we ate that was prepared by the women of the house. Definitely the best food we had for all of our time in Tanzania.. we spent the rest of our trip trying to find it again. This day trip was such a fun and interesting experience. It was amazing to see how the Chagga people live and interact with the natural resources around them. Definitely recommend. Thank you Lewison and Goodluck.

  Best host and guide - Me and my wife were recommended Lewis and his company by a friend and we contacted him for climbing the Kilimandjaro. Since the beginning he was very responsive, friendly and... read more accommodating. We also found the best price and conditions with him. Unfortunately we couldn’t make the climb due to a knee injury.
Even so and because we were left with no plan B, Lewis invited us to his guesthouse just by his home. He hosted us for 3 days and arranged day trips everyday for us (waterfalls, hot springs, bike rental...).
I can only recommend East Africa Travel Company and Lewis, both a professional and a friend!
